A native Iowan, Kirsten Ulve began her career as a graphic designer and illustrator in Chicago, then relocated to NYC in 1996 to hurl herself into illustration full time. Since then she has drawn everything from editorial and fashion illustration to caricatures, animated commercials, and advertising art. Her clients include Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Cosmogirl, YM, the Village Voice, Condé Nast Traveler, Sky Magazine (UK), Mattel, Popsicle, Hasbro, and Palty (Beauty products) of Japan.
