Map to MoCCA

On December 3rd, The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art hosts the Cartoonist Alliance's annual presentation of the world-renowned cartoonists. This year’s featured artist is Patrick McDonnell, creator of the nationally syndicated comic strip, "Mutts!" Mr. McDonnell will talk about his career as a cartoonist and the genesis of "Mutts," while drawing his (and your!) favorite Mutts characters along the way.

Mr. McDonnell's latest books will be available for purchase and signing. Since books are a great gift idea, and autographed ones doubly so, be sure to bring alond some extra cash!

Doors will open at 7:00 pm, and refreshments will be served as guests socialize while taking in the exhibitions in the MoCCA gallery. Mr. McDonnell’s interactive discussion and art demonstration will begin at 7:45, followed by an autographing session.

The Cartoonist Alliance is a special interest group of the Graphic Artists Guild of New York. They meet the second Wednesday of every month at MoCCA, 594 Broadway (between Houston and Prince Streets), Suite 401. For more information, email ozker5@earthlink.net.
